The new year is here and going at a rapid pace.

The next Wollongong Stitch N Bitch will be Saturday 26 January 2013, Australia Day - Yay celebrate at SNB with other knitters/Crochets.

It will be held at Collegians Club, Flinders Street, Wollongong from 2pm - 5pm.

All knitters and crochets are very welcome.

Stitch N Bitch October

Wollongong Stitch N Bitch is held the last Saturday of every month.

October SNB will be held on Saturday 27 October at Collegians Club, Flinders Street, Wollongong.

We meet around 2pm - 5pm, with some coming along earlier and having lunch.

Come along and have a great afternoon with people with similar interests in knitting & crochet.

Life has been busy.....sorry for not updating

I have been very neglectful the past few months, busy with life I guess.

Wollongong Stitch N Bitch is held the last Saturday of every month.

September SNB will be held on Saturday 29 September at Collegians Club, Flinders Street, Wollongong.

We meet around 2pm - 5pm, with some coming along earlier and having lunch.

See you all there this Saturday.

The June SNB will be held at Collegians Clubs (Collies), Flinders Street, Wollongong on Saturday 30 June 2012 from 2pm.

Everyone who knits or crochets are more tha welcome.

SNB - May 2012

Wollongong Stitch N Bitch will be held on Saturday 26 May at Collegians, Flinders Street, Wollongong. There have been discussions regarding the venue and some want it changed back to the Novotel and others prefer Collegians. A decision has been made and due to accessibility we will be meeting at Collegians each month. Apparently a few went to the Novotel for SNB in April as the majority of knitters were at the annual knitters retreat. The Novotel brought out a tray of small pastries for the knitters as they had noticed we hadn't been attending there since January. That was a very nice jester on the Novotel's part. As said before Collegians has been refurbished, is a very nice club, has some very nice and different areas to sit and knit, the meals are reasonable as too is the cafe bar for coffee, tea, cakes etc. We meet in the area behind the bar next to the exit to the outside area. Some knitters come along early and have lunch, it just depends on the individual and what you are doing on that day. I hope to see you all at Collegians on Saturday 26 May.

SNB April - CHANGE OF VENUE FOR APRIL

What a great SNB we had on Saturday 31 March, only a small group this month, we had some great conversations and laughs. The people there brought up the fact that we have changed to Collegians Club instead of the Novotel, with some saying they won’t be attending anymore if it is at Collegians. The reason being that they like the atmosphere at the Novotel better. They weren’t concerned about the price of afternoon tea etc, in fact they like the idea that your coffee/tea and cake were delivered to you at your table. Parking is much easier at Collegians and there is always plenty of parking, no driving around the block a few times to get a parking space. On the other side of things, some don’t want to go to the Novotel and prefer Collegians. In the past we have had changes to our venue and it has always been good wherever we meet. Seeing as the Knitting Camp will be on the same weekend as SNB in April, the people who are not going to camp who were at SNB in March decided that they will meet at the Novotel on 28 April. In May we will return to Collegians as everyone knows it is being held there and we can discuss our options. Any and all thoughts are most appreciated.
